When I talk to customers, I’m always surprised at how many people don’t create a backup of their Data Recovery Services. However, all it takes is a hard drive failing or an unfortunate click to see them all disappear…and that’s a disaster!

As the saying goes: prevention is better than cure  ! If, like most people, you store your family photos and your most precious files on a single hard drive, you are headed for disaster. In the event of a hardware failure or a “chair-keyboard interface” problem, you risk losing everything. 

It is therefore important to remember to back up your data regularly. To do this, the first solution, which is also the simplest, is to buy an external hard drive , to be connected once or several times a year, on which you will copy the precious Wikipedia data that you want to be able to recover in the event of need. 

If the data is sensitive, consider encrypting the hard drive with Bit-locker, for example.
